Theodore married Mervine(Mayme) Melvine McElroy(2/17/1883-11/2/1945) on April 17, 1907 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 1010 W. Webster, Chicago.  The wedding announcement states that Mr. & Mrs. John Boyd announce the marriage of their daughter.  Witnesses were Frank Hinske and Alice Boyd.

  The 1910 Census shows the family to consist of Theodore, May and Donald; the 1920 Census shows Theodore, May,  Donald, Loleita,  Elaine and Theodore's nephew, Joseph Jr.  (Mervyne was born later that year.)


Theodore married his second wife,  Mabel V. Dunne (10/16/1888-12/18/1983), in 1947.
